Palace & Garden, Vienna, Austria
Belvedere
Palace, in Vienna, Austria,
was built in 1721-22, when Prince Eugene of Savoy, Commander in
Chief of the Imperial Army during the war against the Turks, asked
Johan Lukas von Hildebrandt to construct a summer palace. He actually
never lived there. The palace is considered one of the most exquisite
Baroque structures in the world.
